The Last Days Part 1

 


Recent News:

1. Landslides in Himachal Pradesh

2. Floods and mudslides in Turkey

3. Flood in China, Germany and Belgium. Hundreds missing.

4. Forest fires in some US states, Turkey and Greece

5. Famine and starvation in Ethiopia

6. Rockets fired from Lebanon into Israel

7. Immorality, injustice and oppression is rampant.

8. Sinkholes appearing out of nowhere and Earthquakes happening frequently

9. COVID 19 and its variants everywhere

Why is all this happening?

The Holy Bible tells us that in the last days these things and many more dangers must happen. Its like the wrath of God is being unleashed across all the nations of the world. This is because, all the nations and all its people have sinned and where there is sin, there is always punishment.

You may ask, "What wrong did we do?"

Well, the first to be blamed is us, the so called Christians. We let politics, greed, envy, slander, malice, immorality and false doctrine to enter into our churches. We stopped all our prayers and started to worry only about ourselves. We became arrogant and careless. We didn't care about the society we lived in. We didn't help the widows or the orphans. We neither helped the needy and the destitute. We never preached the gospel outside the church. We never told anybody that Jesus loves them and cares about them. 

Its all because of us.

And because, we didn't tell them about Jesus, they did not know Him. They kept living their lives in their own way. They didn't know, that, if they came to Jesus, He would wash all their sins away and teach them His ways which are righteous. Many of them are overcome by sin, depression, fear, addiction and suicidal thoughts. They didn't know that Jesus can break all their curses and chains that keep them enslaved and make them His sons and daughters. 

They didn't know because we didn't tell them the truth.

We kept the truth in our hearts for our own blessing. 

And lo and behold, because sin has increased, so has the judgement of God come upon us.

What the world wants you to believe?

The world wants you to believe that global warming is causing all these catastrophes. The world wants to blot out, God, Our Creator. The world wants you to live in constant fear of the future. The world is telling that humanity is on the red alert and nothing can be done.

Prayer:

Dear God,

We pray for your protection this day, on our families, our friends and our neighbors, that you would keep us all safe in these last days. Please help us to be holy and pleasing to you in all our ways. Help us to do your will in our lives. Help us to pray more and be watchful. Help us to be ready and be saved in the day of your return.

In Jesus Name,

Amen.

Ezekiel 1: 26, 27 Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man.   I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. Ezekiel saw God in His glory. God had the appearance of man yet glowing in brilliance. Remember He made us in His image! The Purpose

THE PURPOSE God's creation                    God's creation is beautiful. Genesis 1 briefs how God created different things in 6 days  and he rested on day 7.                 Genesis 1: 1-3               In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light" and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and morning were the first day.             God saw there was a need. It says that the earth was formless, empty and dark. When God saw the need, He started to do something about it. He spoke and light appeared. God was pleased and called the light as "day" and the darkness as "Night".                 1. God sees a need.                2.

The Journey

                                                                                            The Journey At birth, a baby travels from its mother's womb and comes into this world. As it grows, it transitions from the loving confines of its home to school then to college, workplace, setting up a household and raising up children of its own kind and then becomes old and departs from this Earth. It’s a journey every human being undertakes. It’s a journey that everyone is familiar with. But do you know there is another journey we all travel?             Just as our flesh has its own course, so also the spirit that God kept inside of us has a course to run. I like to call it "The Journey of Faith". The journey of our flesh will come to an end when we die. But the spirit has an eternal journey to undertake.           This journey appears in the Bible for the first time in Genesis 12, when God calls our father Abraham to go to the land which He shows him.    Genesis 12: 1
